| I'm assuming that if you're looking at these pages, you might welcome some advice on the range of washable nappies sold here - and perhaps just real cloth nappies in general. Because all the advice I give is specific to your needs (rather than a "standard" response), it may take a little while for me to get back to you, however I will usually reply within 24 hours. If you live close to me, I may even be able to arrange to show you the nappies - which makes a world of difference! I have 4 children close in age, and have not had a nappy free day since my eldest was born in January 1998. In that time I reckon I must have changed at least 16,000 nappies! I started out as a disposable user, and switched to washable cloth nappies with my second child, after trying the Plush Pants nappy hire scheme. I have learned a lot about cloth nappying along the way, nothing beats personal experience. Nappy News 19th May 2005 The Environment Agency Life Cycle Analysis of disposable and real nappies has been published. It concludes that there is no real difference between the environmental impact of both sorts of nappy, however several groups have responded with criticisms that the LCA report is flawed.
