| Shaped Cloth Nappies - Sized |
| Choosing sized cloth nappies, which come in two or more different sizes, gives you a good fit at each stage, with a less bulky and neater cloth nappy at the newborn stage, and then a larger, more absorbent wasahble nappy to take you through to toilet training. Some of the washable nappies come in more than 2 sizes, but most babies will only need the small and large (or size 1 and 2). We have real nappies suitable for premature or low birth weight babies, as well as XL size cloth nappies for the larger toddler or late toilet training child.
In some cases, the larger size nappy can be used as a birth to potty cloth nappy, which usually works out as the most economical birth to potty system - I have indicated in the product description where this is possible. Some washable nappies might need additional boosters for night-time use, these can be found in our nappy boosters section.

Tots Bots original cotton nappy is a very popular terry cotton washable nappy, made in Turkey for Scottish company Totsbots. It comes in three sizes, Size 1 fits from 6 - 18lb; Size 2 fits from 18lb - 40lb; and size 3 fits from 35lb+ (size 3 has been discontinued, very little stock left); it also comes in two fastening varieties - one fastens with velcro; the other needs either pins or nappy nippas.

The Sandy’s nappy from Mother-ease is a lovely soft sized nappy, with gentle elastication around the legs, and fastening with poppers at the hip and waist. This lovely soft Aplix fastening nappy is made in the UK by Tiddlybums, and features soft fleece on the inside, with brushed cotton flannelette on the outside (designs vary). There is gentle elastication around the legs and back to prevent leaks. The nappy is suitable for premature babies up to about 6.5/7lbs.

It's the fastest drying shaped nappy I've used, and will be a good choice if you don't have (or wish to use) a tumble drier, or have limited drying facilities.
