Nature Babies started in 2001 with a nappy laundry service, making their own nappy covers, and have developed into one of England’s largest manufacturers of reusable nappies. Nature Babies now employs a staff of six part time workers at their base in Quorn, Leicestershire, where all their nappies, nappy covers and nappy products are made.

Nature Babies Classic Wrap – the adjustable wrap, with poppers on the front that allow the first two sizes to fit over a much wider weight range than most wraps. The additional poppers can be closed to make the wrap shorter, or undone to make it longer, so this wrap suits most shapes and weights of baby, and also fits over most nappies very successfully. The leg gussets are a favourite feature with our customers, as well as the great range of patterns and colours!

Nature Babies Essential Wrap – the recession busting wrap – this fits babies from around 10lbs up to around 30lbs, which makes it fantastic value for money! Now available in colours too.

Nature Babies Diddy Diaper – a cute little terry nappy, lined with soft cotton jersey, initially developed as a newborn nappy to give a neat fit under clothing, and when demand rose for the next size, the size 2 nappy was born, which takes little ones right up to toilet training, offering great absorbency and a slim fit on the hips, ideal for boys in particular. Available with aplix fastening or as a nippa fastening nappy.

Nature Babies Micro Diddy Diaper – this is a faster drying version of the Diddy Diaper, it uses microfibre for absorbency, with soft cotton jersey next to the skin. Nippa fastening only, great value for money. This nappy is exceptionally popular with our customers who have done a nappy trial first – 70% of parents who tried out this nappy went on to buy them. No other nappy scored over 50%!

Nature Babies Bamboo Lovable – a similar style to the Diddy Diapers but made from bamboo, and featuring a pocket style opening at the back, into which the loose booster can be tucked. The sensible design makes this nappy really easy to use, and fairly fast drying for a bamboo nappy. Fastens with aplix and comes in two sizes.

Nature Babies Big Softie – another recession buster from Nature Babies! This birth to potty nappy is made from cotton terry, with a fleecy lining, and has a pocket style opening at the back into which you insert one or both of the included boosters for extra absorbency. Poppers on the front allow the nappy to be adjusted to fit from newborn up to toddler. Stocked in popper fastening, we can also get the nippa version if preferred.

Nature Babies Stuffable OneSize – if you’re after a birth to potty nappy, and fancy the idea of a pocket nappy, this could be the one for you. The Stuffable OneSize is fully adjustable using the same popper system on the front as you find on the wraps and the Big Softie, and fastens with aplix tabs that can overlap at the front on a newborn. It has a fleece lining and an opening at the back into which you stuff the inserts. The nappy comes with two inserts. As standard you will receive two “slimma stuffs”, which are long slim absorbent inserts that you need to fold up before putting into the nappy. If you prefer, we can swap one of the slimma stuffs for a microfibre booster, which is sewn as a single pad so is a bit less fiddly (but will be a bit bulkier). Our testers particularly liked the inserts which dry really fast, as does the outer.

Nature Babies Terry Squares – despite all the modern inventions, terry squares are still a popular option, and these ones from Nature Babies are winners for their slim fit. Available in 3 sizes (40cm, 50cm and 60cm) they offer good value and a very fast drying nappy option. Also available in bamboo, size 50cm only.

NAPPY ACCESSORIES:

As well as all the great nappy products, Nature Babies also supply us with some other bits and pieces that are useful for the cloth nappy user:

Nature Babies Wipes – packs of 10 washable baby wipes with fleece on one side and terry on the other.

Laundry Mesh – ideal for use in the nappy bucket, so when full you just lift out the mesh bag and put the lot in the machine.

Vest Extenders – if your baby vests aren’t fitting so well with real nappies, try using vest extenders to allow the vest to “grow” a bit. On slim babies this works better than going up a size, as bigger vests tend not to fit so well on the shoulders on little ones.

Wet Nappy Bags – ideal for out and about, store your used nappies in these bags then wash with the nappies once you’re home.
