| I've tried many slings with my babies and found the Wilkinet was by far the most comfortable for both of us. This "Green Baby" version is made from certified fairtrade organic cotton in soft khaki green. The straps are pretty easy to master with a little practise (I suggest you try with a large doll or teddy bear to get the idea).

When babies get too heavy to be carried round in their infant car seats or slings, but are still not at the point where you can do without anything at all, the Hippychick Hipseat provides the ideal solution. I used my Hipseat with my youngest child and loved it - I found it useful for those occasions when you are dropping off older children somewhere, and don't really want to bother with a buggy; it's great for carrying the baby at children's birthday parties; for going on walks where the buggy won't really go (even ATPs don't cope well with a stile!); carrying an unwell or clingy child who just wants to be held close; in crowded places where a pushchair isn't practical (nearly new sales being a prime example!) - I'm sure you can already think of more!
