Terry nappies (terry squares) and prefolds are an excellent option. They are the cheapest type of cloth nappy; easiest to dry; the most versatile to use - you change the shape and size of a terry nappy to best suit your baby at each stage of his/her development, just by changing the way you fold it; and you control its absorbency by using, positioning and regulating the way you boost it.
