| Shaped Cloth Nappies - Sized |
| Sized cloth nappies, which come in two or more different sizes, give you a good fit at each stage, with a less bulky and neater nappy at the newborn stage, and then a larger, more absorbent cloth nappy for older babies. Some of the cloth nappies come in more than 2 sizes, but most babies will only need the small and large (or size 1 and 2). If you need advice, please do ask! In some cases, the larger size cloth nappy can be used as a birth to potty nappy, which usually works out as the most economical birth to potty system - I have indicated in the product description where this is possible. Some cloth nappies might need additional boosters for night-time use, these can be found in our nappy boosters section. Tots Bots FlexiTots are a clever innovation from Scottish company TotsBots, combining fast drying microfibre technology at the core of the nappy, with a super soft bamboo fibre lining, and a soft stretchy polyester outer. The updated version now features poppers on the front of the nappy so the rise can be reduced, making the size 1 suitable for even premature newborns, and the size 2 suitable as a birth to potty nappy on slightly larger babies (from about 9lbs). FlexiTots are a comfy, easy to use and care for nappy, slim on the hips, offering a flexible and neat fit and a quicker drying time. The polyester outer of the FlexiTot also makes this a very pleasant nappy for parents, as the outside of the nappy remains quite dry to the touch so you don't tend to end up with wetness on the inside of the wrap. However the FlexiTot nappy does require a separate wrap (the outer layer is not waterproof). It is available in Aplix fastening only. Size 1 will fit babies up to around 20lbs, and size 2 will fit babies from 18-35lbs (or from about 8lbs if poppered down - though this may appear bulky). Size 2 Flexitots are supplied with a loose bamboo fibre booster which can be laid inside the nappy or tucked into the pocket as you find easiest.
PLEASE NOTE THE CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS NAPPY Where possible, wash at 40 degrees. Do not use biological powder, vinegar, or bicarbonate of soda. These products when heated in solution can corrode fibres and damage your nappies. Use one or two tablespoons of a non-bio detergent, and no fabric softener. The nappies can be tumble dried on a cool setting, but never on high temperatures, this may damage your nappies. We recommend air drying. |

| I was not overawed with this when I fist had it, but it has come into its own now my bub is 2 and wetting a lot more! This is great for heavier wetters and trim fitting too, can easily be used for nights with extra boosters. The outer hardly deels wet when you take it off, it seems to lock the wetness in the core. Little longer on drying though, if drying naturally. |
