| This European made nappy adjusts cleverly to suit babies from 7-35lbs in weight, with an additional booster liner providing extra asborbency for the older baby. These washable nappies are very popular and have excellent containment ability. Because the booster can be removed, it is perhaps more practical and certainly less bulky on the tummy than other birth to potty nappies. Details of how to fold the nappy to use at different stages will be provided. The unbleached version of the Popolini One Size is a blend of 85/15 cotton/polyester, the polyester forming an inner core to strengthen the fabric, leaving the outer material which is in contact with baby’s skin, being 100% unbleached cotton; the nappy is also available in 100% soft knitted organic terry cotton. Popolini nappies have established a reputation for remaining nice and soft, even in harder water areas.
The Popolini One Size nappy is of a similar design to the Mother-ease One Size, however it has more poppers than the Motherease One Size (8, rather than 6), and is more generously cut across the front, thereby fitting a larger or chubbier child, who might outgrow the ME version. I managed to fasten one around my 4.5yr old approx 35lb daughter – who was admittedly reluctant to participate – OVER her shorts!
The Popolini One Size nappy comes with a snap in booster liner included in the price. If you require additional boosters, perhaps if you have a very heavy wetter, these are also available.
In the unlikely event that your child does outgrow the One Size around the hips, I now stock One Size Nappy Extenders (see nappy accessories/fasteners), which enable you to continue using the nappy until your child slims down, which usually happens once they are up and about on their feet.
