The wrap closes with plastic poppers: three at each leg and two at each side of the waist, to ensure correct fit as your baby grows. This gives you a good amount of adjustment, and poppers have an advantage over velcro in that older babies generally can't undo them! However, because this wrap fastens over the hips instead of across the tummy, it gives a slightly puffier fit across the tummy. Because of the extra room around the tummy area, this is an ideal wrap for bulkier nappies such as terry squares and the Popolini Ultrafit, and will also cover a boosted Tots Bots nappy. The Vento is made of brushed knit polyester, laminated with a waterproof interior. It has gently bound elastic at legs and waist which means it will hold well to baby's skin, without digging in and leaving nasty red marks. This nappy wrap is not suitable for prefolds, or pad-folded terries, but works well with all the other nappies I offer.
Machine wash at 60°C, and air dry.
